Best type of site is a site that can run on it's own.
Meaning no updates, that it auto updates on it's own. Using a RSS feed is the best way to do this.
Of course don't expect just because you place yahoo or google ads on your site you well make a income. It has to have a good domain that is offtenly searched.
I have one semi ugly site for sale that fits what you would need.

Domains at godaddy.com and can be pushed.
Payment would be via paypal.
But also i am not sure but i would think their may besome thing in other yahoo or googles TOS taht tells you where you can and can't place your ads.
