I looked at your site and here are my comments:
1. Put ads on your homepage. There will be a percentage of visitors who upon landing on your site will leave it immediately. Better they leave by clicking an ad, rather than the visitors getting no chance to see the ads on the inside pages.
2. Study the Google heatmap to learn the best placement of ads on your site. Your ads are below the fold in the middle of the content - some will not even go down there to see the ad. Put it up front above the fold. Check Google's heat map as they have tested where the best placements are https://www.google.com/support/adsense/b...
The main problem of your site, for me as a visitor, is that I am not sure what the value of your site and how I can use it. It seems to be a directory -- but what sets your directory apart from the thousands of other directory out there? Unless your site offers some unique and valuable content, it will be hard to get traffic to the site. As such, it will not be easy to get a lot of income from Adsense
Google adsense is a good way to bring more people to your site. I don't really understand your question: which page you think I can get more revenue? You only listed one page.
So I'm just gonna guess at what will be helpful.
Yes, you should use google adsense. Use search words like popular websites (only the phrase, not each one separetly) maybe pop-culture would be a good phrase. Just pick phrases that are relevant to you website.
And, yes, I think that page validation is good for search engines, but I'm not real sure on that.
