When did so many MLB clubs change their AAA affiliate?

Question: For example, the Mets now have New Orleans Zephers instead of Norfolk Tides, Yankees have Scranton WB and not Columbus. etc...

Major League teams sign contracts with their affilates. There is a tendancy for them to want to move closer to their major league team - which is why the Yankees moved from Columbus to Scranton (& why its rumored the Indians or Reds may eventually move their AAA affilate to Columbus).

Many contracts for some reason ended this season. It somewhat makes sense though to get the AAA affiliate closer to you. Example is the Tigers. When a player is needed, the Toledo Mud Hen can be in the Tiger clubhouse in about an hour.
I believe the Phillies will have their affiliate in Ottawa for just one season until a park is ready in Allentown.
