If someone really came up with a get rich quick scheme that worked why would they give it to anyone else?
There is really no fast way to make money online, without making a popular website.
Get a job. No seriously though, affiliate marketing is a very tricky and over saturated market. There are much better ways to make money online. Affiliating saw a real boom in the late 90's and is still steady but pretty difficult to just get into and make good money. You'd really have to develop a popular website with a lot of hits to take advantage of it these days.

One of the easiest and cheapest ways to break into affiliate marketing is by joining the ebay affiliate program (first join http://cj.com then through ebay you can get your links. Ebay is great because they have so many items to promote, all you have to do is tap into a market that is not saturated with adwords and you could start making money easily

When I started doing affiliate marketing just about a year ago, I used google adwords mostly... mainly because it gave quick results.
However, I didn't experience much success until I came across a book called googleadwords123 (http://www.affiliatemarketinglessons.com... written by Greg Heslin. It made a significant difference in my earnings - mainly because greg shows you how to focus on the customer instead of the product you're selling.
However, I have stopped using Google Adwords because the rules kept changing and it costs too much.
Now I use more free and low cost methods of advertising such as writing articles and post them at article directories, post comments at forums, email signatures, blogging, etc
I have been experiencing moderate success with affiliate marketing... and its getting better.
