Do you consider yourself affiliated with a political party or just the best candidate?

Question:

Answers:
No affiliation with political party.
Best candidate even if I did have an affiliation.
The best candidate.
Before bush, it could have gone either way.

Now?

I will NEVER vote Republican under any circumstances whatsoever. I blame the Party for allowing the travesty to continue to destroy this country for six long years.
Party. As long as the DNC keeps running people like Kerry and Hillary, I will continue to vote Republican.
I vote the issues. I vote for the candidate that best meets my beliefs. Have never been a party follower.
Best candidate, but I admit that I'm heavily swayed by negative campaigning, and always have been. Always seemed to me that the candidate(s) who campaign the dirtiest have nothing but mud to offer when it comes to a solid platform.

As a Republican, I voted for Clinton -- twice -- because I felt he was the best qualified. I switched to Democrat in 2000, after it became clear that the Republican party no longer existed.
I would vote for the best candidate from now on..you should watch the movie from THE DARK SIDE. Im am putting the website on the bottom in the source.
Since I believe in conservatism, which means I believe in smaller government and lower taxes and get government out of my personal life. I find myself voting for republicans and some libertarians. I just can't see bigger government and higher taxes that the liberal democrats want to implement a positive thing for America. I would have voted for JFK though if I would have been old enough.
I would like to think myself not a blind party member, however many of the current administrations actions and rhetoric have pushed me pretty far left. Not the extreme left, b/c I still like one Republican candidate (Ron Paul), however, my appreciation for a few Dem. candidates at this time is higher. I still research both sides of the coin, and look into 3rd party candidates (I hope if Paul doesn't get the Repub. nomination that he runs Independent or Libertarian), he's the only conservative who can win and not cause me to burst into tears at this point.
Candidate. I'm not affiliated, and have voted against, not for a candidate since I was old enough to vote.

I support Obama as the first time I will vote *for* a candidate.
Registered Democrat and I support the best candidate, Joe Biden.
Well, I am an Independent. But I am affliating myself with Hillary Clinton as the best candidate out there right now.
Best candidate (RUDY!)
