Question About Joining a Political Party?
Question:
Thank You
Answers:
That is a good question and I honestly don't know for sure. My initial reaction is no because you wouldn't be able to vote. You probably could volunteer to assist the party of you choice during a campaign though.
I think you do that when you register to vote, but you can be politically active at any age. Go to your party's website and see what you can do to help get the word out. Kudos to you for not being apathetic! Perhaps the next generation will be more involved.
It's not a "club" that you can join.
BTW...I have yet to find a political party that follows ALL my beliefs. I like to go with whomever "appears" to have my interests in mind no matter what party they are with.
technically you have to be 18 to register to be an officaial member of a party. But that shouldn't stop you from helping out in a campaign or generally supporting the party of your choice. Have you decided which one you favor yet? Just curious. If I may offer something to keep in mind in choosing a party ...one of the most important jobs of government is the job of protecting and defending the people of this country. Right now the two main parties couldn't be further apart in what they want to protect us against. Conservatives want to protect us against Islamo Fascists who use terrorism to try and destroy individual freedom. While liberals want to protect us against climate change.
