I have NVU web editor, but I can't seem to get anything from google adsense to work.?

Question:
I have tried pasting the code between the <BODY> and </BODY> tags, but that didn't work. I have tried clicking the insert option on the toolbar and then HTML to paste the code, but that didn't work either. Can anyone please help? Thank you in advance.

Answers:
Adding Adsense using Nvu

Go to the URL listed below and watch the video tutorial, along with the text-guide below, it will show you probably the easiest way to add Google Adsense to your webpages when using Nvu.
Open your Nvu editor and load your file (index.html?).
Select where you want to place your Adsense ads.
Put a row of crosses (XXXXX) or something similar to identify that place.
On the bottom toolbar select 'Source'.
This will put you into the html source code mode.
Find the row of crosses and replace that (by copying and pastiing) with your Google Adsense html code.
The code starts and ends with: <script type="text/javascript"><!--
and has your publisher id number - about 10 lines of code in all.
Save that.
Now you will not see anything until you upload that and go online.
