How google discover the invalid clicks in adsense ?
Question:
Answers:
Google uses lots of ways to track invalid clicks -- none of which they will reveal so people cannot exploit it
It can be anywhere from
- tracking the IP address of the clicks and see if there is a sustained pattern (e.g. you go to a library and click on the ads repeatedly so even if it is not your home computer they see invalid clicks)
- the IP address of the clicks and comparing it to the IP address of the Adsense login (e.g. you clicked on the ads in your brother's house, and then opened your Adsense account in your brother's computer -- so they are able to trace you plus any related accounts terminating both yours and your brother's account)
- many more
Invalid clicks is a "catch all" term that they use, but it does not always mean that the publisher cheated. It can mean anywhere from clicking on your own ads, labeling the ads, inciting visitors to support the site and click on the ads, etc.
You have to remember that the first responsibility of Google is to satisfy their advertisers, where the money comes from; and not the publishers. They need to protect the interests of advertisers at all cost. As a result, any clicks perceived to be less than above-board are investigated oftentimes leading to the cancellation of the account of the advertiser.
They won't reveal anything specific about their detection algorithms, but a few things trigger it:
- Many clicks from the same IP.
- Any clicks from an IP that has accessed the AdSense control panel (meaning you just clicked your own ad).
I'm sure it's much more complex than that, but that's a rough idea.
many ways , for example : visitors just opened your site with no reference how is that ?
your site is not indexed and have many visitors ?
your site visitors do nothing put clicking on ads ?
your site visitors always came from the same range of ips ?
