Google adsense really work well if you get a lot of traffic, plus not only getting traffic to your site those visitors must also click on the ads. If they don't click you don't make money. Also you only get pennies compared to what google gets from advertising many feel it is not worth it. But you may do well even if you cover hosting that may be enough until you are able to build on getting the traffic needed.

I use it both on my blog and websites. It works all right. The return pays for my hosting and puts some money in my pocket. My profile under adsense has more. I would say that Adsense works but I also have to say that you have to work it.
It's not as simple as just having a blog and then adding the Adsense ads. Once you sign up you will have an account and you will be able to see how the ads on your blog are doing as far as earning money is concerned.
Plus a blg plus is that Adsense has a lot of helpful information. They have a blog, a question and answer forum and there are lots of other blogs online with helpful adsense tips and information
