There are many ways to get a website. You could get one for free using sites like geocities ( http://www.geocities.com/ ) or you could actually register a domain name and pay for a host. The amount you pay for the domain and the host will vary; you get what you pay for. You could check out Go Daddy ( http://www.godaddy.com/ ) for domain registration.
Once you have the website it is free to join affiliate programs, but some may have certain limitations such as:
- You must live in the US
- You can't sign up for similar affiliate programs
- You can't use free website services
Getting a website is as easy as going to godaddy to get a name and a hosting company (which can also be godaddy) to get the webspace.
You can get a name for about $8 a year, the hosting for $30 to $120 a year for plenty of space and bandwidth.

I make money online through affiliate programs. They can be very lucrative, but you really need to be careful when signing up with a company. There are a lot of scams. Look for a company with little or no start up fee. You also want a company that offers excellent training. Check out the products or services that the company offers to see if you find them reliable. Establish a start up budget, and schedule some time to work on your business. The failure rate in this business is high because most people don’t invest the time and energy needed to succeed. You have to believe in your ability to succeed 100%!
