If you have a lot of CTR but no ECPM, then it might mean that Google has been disregarding the clicks that your friends are generating
Be careful and DON'T PUSH IT -- Google is well known for kicking out publishers who violate their Program Policies, one of which clearly says that you cannot click on your own ads, and that goes as well to telling friends to click on your ads. It might not be long before you receive the dreaded "you've been kicked out of the program" email for generating invalid clicks
You have to remember that the first responsibility of Google is to satisfy their advertisers, where the money comes from; and not the publishers. They need to protect the interests of advertisers at all cost. As a result, any clicks perceived to be less than above-board are investigated oftentimes leading to the cancellation of the account of the advertiser.
Adsense may be considering your friends' clicks as invalid. Their reasoning is that the clicks are valid when people who are interested in the ads click on them.
Now don't ask me how adsense knows this because they have got very sophisticated equipment to determine invalid clicks. As a matter of fact it would be a good idea if you sent adsense an email telling them about those click or otherwise they might ban your account and you won't be able to earn anything.
Adsense has a tool where you can "test" your ads by clicking on them but you have to get the tool and not just click on the ads yourself.
A LOT of people have had their adsense accounts banned because of invalid clicks.

Two things: 1) don't get your friends to click the ads. 2) Don't think you can set up a freebie site (on Geocities) and make money from adsense. Geocities makes money from adsense - you get a free site. That's the deal.
