Can you transfer affiliate accounts?

Question: I recently purchased an established website that runs adsense, yahoo publisher, and an allposters.com on the site. Can the seller just transfer the accounts into my name or do I have to sign up for a new account?

Its an easy switch in the code, so your better to get your own account and change the affiliate code to your name.
