Google Adwords Testing?
Question:
I´m looking for a way to be able to test the various adwords advertisements that appear at the side of the page on google.com when you type in a specific search term. My problem is that I want to see ads that are targeted for the US only and because Google recognises me as being in Ireland (cos thats were I am!) it only shows up adwords ads at the side that are targeted for Ireland. I used to use a website called anonymizer.com but that doesn´t work anymore.
I hope I`ve explained that well. It´s kinda hard to explain straight out.

Your only solution to this is for you to get some geo-targeting database on your site and target your ads based on the IP address of the user so that you only display your Google ads onto your pages when the users is in the US.
In the AdWords interface, the advertiser chooses the targeting for their ads and Google targets them based on the advertisers criteria, not the publisher.
You've explained quite clearly what it is you want to do. I am not sure what the solution is. You could try to e-mail google and tell them what you need. You could also open another user on your computer and give a ficticious name and address in the USA. It is probably legal to do that as long as you are not defrauding anyone.
