Is Google AdSense really a good option for blogs with very low traffic?

Probably not. Yahoo! Publisher Network (http://publisher.yahoo.com/) actually pays more now as well.

It can't hurt to add it though, who knows, maybe you hit on something big and get tons of traffic.

My housemate has run AdSense on his weblog for about two months now and has earned $0.00. From this estimate I would not consider cluttering up your website is not worth it.

Another friend of mine has added it to his site, he is attempting to beat the system by making use of his network admin privs to click the ads from the machines on the network. Even with his cheating and investment of time has only earned $20.00.
